Beauport, the Sleeper-McCann House

Gloucester, Massachusetts-A recent visit to Beauport, the Sleeper-McCann House, an Historic New England property far exceeded my expectations to be wowed.  A somewhat understated, stone house built in 1907, set on the rocks at Eastern Point overlooking Gloucester Harbor- it truly does not disappoint.

The summer home of the late, Henry Davis Sleeper, an interior designer, the house is chock full of color, themed rooms with all sorts of collections, and although each quite different, all ‘sit’ quite well together.

Such a pleasure to visit this National Historic Landmark property.
