Cogswell’s Grant

Recently I enjoyed a lovely visit to Cogswell’s Grant in Essex, Massachusetts.  One of Historic New England’s Massachusetts properties, it is a beautifully situated, antique colonial farmhouse, chockfull of American folk art collected by Betram and Nina Fletcher Little during their lifetimes.

The interiors offer the visitor a rich, textural experience set in an earlier time.  Collections are well balanced and provide a glimpse into the former owner’s summer farm life.
