One of  the best spots to catch a gorgeous sunset while enjoying fine dining is Nantucket’s Galley Beach. The food, the view, the interiors, even the people watching was spectacular.  But hurry, they close for the season in October.

Built in 1745, the mill is the oldest functioning windmill in the USA.  An iconic Nantucket landmark, it is owned and maintained by the Nantucket Historical Association.  The association offers fantastic walking tours of many of Nantucket’s historic sites.

Cisco Brewers– yum! Situated in farmland just outside of Nantucket Town, this is a must-do if you like beer, wine, spirits, the outdoors and friendly people all at a relaxed pace.  I thoroughly enjoyed their “beer flight” as the perfect tasting to fantastic brews.

If you go to Nantucket, be sure to get out and explore the island.  Siasconset is the perfect seaside village with charming, rose covered cottages and a spectacular beach.
