Irises and Boxwood

Last fall I went a little crazy sculpting out a long rectangular planting bed around two Sargent crabapple trees, putting in 50 dwarf boxwoods, tons of irises and nepeta. Today the fruits of my labor are showing. Despite the heavy downpours it looks so good if I do say so. But now I have decided to enlarge the whole bed and add my favorite peonies. That might be a fall job as I still have the organic raised beds to plant. Aggressive plans. I think I’ll knit instead. Plant tomorrow.
